Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) of UT Police hold Workshop on Personality Development

Indian Reserve Battalion of (UT) Chandigarh Police organised a workshop on Personality Development under the aegis of RS Ghuman SP/ Commandant IRB for the benefits of the officers and jawans of the Battalion. About 300 constables including 100 lady constables attended the workshop.
Colonel Gursewak Singh (retd), a city based eminent consultant on stress management and personality development conducted the workshop. Col Guru,as he is popularly known as, stressed on the need of
discipline in uniformed forces, both within the organisation especially while dealing with seniors and also while interacting with civil society.
He explained how to control anger and manage stress through a specialised technique, called Cosmic Meditation. Based on a Vedic philosophy, the cosmic meditation helps to improve inter-personal
relationship, strengthen the nervous system to enable to control the worse law and order situation.
Talking about personality development he explained how to enhance memory, achieve concentration to fulfil dreams and wishes. He explained how positive body language can give good impression to other, help enhance career prospects and build cordial relations. In short the aim the talk was to help IRB jawans and official to lead a
happy, healthy and fruitful life with a positive attitude.
